The Roxanne Roundtree Story

Roxanne Roundtree was diagnosed with ALS-Lou Gehrig's disease in 2008 at just 30-years old. At the time, she was an active mother of 3 growing boys: Don (16), Brad (13), and Bryce (11). Before her disease took over, she worked as a home health nurse and traveled the Madisonville area caring for others. Roxanne was an dedicated home keeper, team mother and passionate cook. Her family was, and is, everything to her.

Cargill Funds Veterinary Scholarships

Cargill is funding seven college scholarships for veterinary students.
Scholarships in the amount of $2,000 will be awarded to those graduating with their vet degree in 2014.
Winners will have the opportunikty to attend the American Association of Bovine Practitioners Conference.

SAN DIEGO, Calif., March 7, 2012 — Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack today announced that rural electric cooperative utilities in eight states will receive funding to install smart grid technologies and make improvements to generation and transmission facilities. The announcement was made on the Secretary's behalf by Under Secretary for Rural Development Dallas Tonsager during the 2012 National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) Annual Meeting in San Diego.
